● Crazy ● Wednesday, February 21, 2007 @ 07:54 am |
| Last night at the show at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Travis alerted me to the fact that Kanye West played Gym Class Heroes during his show the other day. How crazy is that?! The best part is that the video ended up on YouTube. You can see the video here. Also, I just wanted to mention that my camera went AWOL, so I didn't end up taking it to the show, but I did manage to write down most of the set list, so if you'd like to read it, click the jump. I WILL be going to the show on Saturday, so I should be taking pictures then. |

● FHM interview ● Thursday, August 31, 2006 @ 07:52 am |
| When going through my inbox, I found an e-mail from someone at FHM alerting me to an interview. I don't usually post these kind of things unless they're funny, and this one has some funny parts, so definitely check it out. Here is the interview. And just as a note, I know I'm slacking right now, but my job just got upgraded to full time, so once I adjust from going from 18 hours a week to 40 hours a week, you'll definitely see me updating more and more. Also, I'm going to be installing wordpress soon, and using just a plain theme so that I can get rid of spam on this site. I found out today I had one post with 97 spam comments on it and I don't feel like dealing with that. Akismet will get rid of all of that for me. |

● Snakes on a GCH ● Friday, August 18, 2006 @ 08:08 am |
| So, of course since I love Snakes on a Plane, I went to see it and I definitely had my ears peeled for Gym Class music. Well, the guys have not one, but two songs prominently featured in the movie! -The first appearance of GCH music, which is "It's Okay, But Just This Once!" is right when you first meet Three G's at the airport, surrounded by little kids. -The second appearance of GCH music, which "New Friend Request" is right when Mercedes is eyeing up Three G's on the airplane before it takes off. Also, as you probably know by now, you CAN catch Travis along with William Beckett, Maja Ivarsson, and of course, Gabe Saporta, at the end during the credits in the video for "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)". 90% of the people I was in the theater with stayed in their seats or stood on the stairs to watch and sing along. My point? Even if you don't think you'd like this movie (which you WILL -- it's like going to Rocky Horror, only better, especially if you bring your own props like paper airplanes and rubber snakes!), go see it anyway to support our GCH boys. |

● GCH joining AAR tour ● Tuesday, August 15, 2006 @ 09:14 pm |
| I didn't want to say anything until I for sure saw it posted on another site, and now that I'm starting to see it, I guess I'll go for it and say it. GCH told me a few times at Warped that they'll be on tour with the All-American Rejects after the tour with Cobra Starship. It looks like it's going to be a pretty huge tour, about the magnitude of a GOOD Nintendo Fusion Tour line-up, so make sure to get your tickets early once the dates are officially announced. | |

● Some SOAP/Cobra Starship/Travis news ● Monday, August 14, 2006 @ 09:03 am |
| If you're going to the Cobra Starship show on the 16th at the Key Club, Cobra Starship has posted a message telling you to dress your best, as you'll be walking the red carpet and being interviewed by Gabe, William, and our own Travis, and having your photos taken. Also, remember to watch the Jimmy Kimmel show on Friday the 18th to see Samuel L. Jackson and Cobra Starship. Word on the street that William and Travis may be performing with Gabe. And one final note -- don't forget to go see Snakes On A Plane! It opens on the 18th, and many theaters are having advanced screenings the night before. At Warped Tour, Travis kept telling people to make sure to see the movie, because you may hear some Gym Class songs at random times. I know I have my ticket for a 10 PM advanced screening. |

● Warped Tour recap ● Thursday, July 27, 2006 @ 09:15 pm |
| Warped Tour was a BLAST! Between the amazing MySpace tent performance (and shoutout, which was crazy!) and the regular set, and just some other hanging, I had an amazing time with GCH today. I can't wait until Sunday! As of right now, I'm resizing all of my photos and uploading the video of "Under The Bridge" from the MySpace tent (it's kind of shaky, but at that point I was kind of shaky as well, so it's the best I could do). As soon as that's up, I'll post it in its' own news section, then later, I'll post the photos in the gallery, and add an update to say I did. |

● "Snakes On A Plane (Bring It)" ● Monday, July 10, 2006 @ 10:31 pm |
| This is kind of a little stretch on band news, but, check out Travis in the new Cobra Starship video for the song "Snakes On A Plane (Bring It)" from the "Snakes On A Plane" soundtrack. Travie guests in the song. Catch other GCH friends in the video (William Beckett of The Academy Is ... , and a super short Pete Wentz cameo). Altogether, the song and video are really tight and worth checking out. The video is up online; you should check out the article here, then check the video pictures (which are linked in the article), then FINALLY see the video at MTV2. | |

● Send prayers and good thoughts out to the band ● Friday, June 02, 2006 @ 01:59 pm |
| This is taken word-for-word from AbsolutePunk.net - "Gym Class Heroes were in a serious van accident early Thursday morning in southwestern New Mexico. They totaled their van and trailer, and most of their gear was unsalvageable. Travis, Matt, Disashi and Eric are all alright, just a little banged up. Seth was flown to a near by hospital, and got out of surgery late last night. He is in good spirits, and will hopefully be heading back to New York this weekend. A full statement from the band will be coming soon, but we just wanted to let you all know they have cancelled their shows this weekend in Arizona and California. Summer tour plans remain the same, and they look forward to seeing you all on Warped Tour." If you guys can, go head over to the FBR store and buy some GCH merch to support the guys and hopefully help them to replace some of their stuff. Send good thoughts and prayers Seth's way as well; he's one of the coolest people on the face of the earth. Also, click on the jump to read Matt's statement that was also posted on AbsolutePunk and on GCH's MySpace blog. |

In the meantime, check out the guys' MySpace for a few songs that you may or may not have heard before. | |
